казвам се Стефан Бозов и съм решил да тръгна (с моето семейство) по дългия път към Нова Зеландия.
Благодарение на вас успях да се ориентиран в морето от информация. Първата стъпка, която направих е подаването на IQA. След около месец чакане получих заветния резултат и реших да се обърна към вас за съвет.
Резултат:
След първия прочит се зарадвах. След още няколко прочита радостта отмина и съмнението ме връхлетя. Защо?
За да мога да събера заветните 160т. ми трябва магистратура - т.е. 70 точки. За съжаление не присъства коментар аналогичен на този за бакалавърската степен. Реших да попитам IQA officer-a:

Така... нещата придобих неприятен развой. Та на въпроса... Имате ли идея дали мога да използвам магистърската си степен при подаване на EOI (т.е. дали има шанс да ми дадът 70т взимайки предвид бакалавърската и магистърската степен и това, че са от една и съща специалност)?

I would like to ask for further explanation about the master degree assessment outcome. Because there is no additional comments related to the master degree (such exists for the bachelor one) I was wondering whether it meets the knowledge requirements of a qualification listed under the occupation of Software Engineer?
I understand that the required education level for Software Engineer is to have at least the bachelor degree at level 7. However, for the purpose of skilled migrant expression of interests (EOI) it is better to choose the option for qualification for level 9 due to the higher points. It would be very helpful, if you can suggest whether I can use the master degree for my EOI.

Dear Stefan,
As for comparison to Software Engineer, a qualification of at least 360 credits (three years full-time study) is required. Your master degree had a shorter duration. For immigration advice, please contact Immigration New Zealand.
