Total points: 195
Ние от своя страна пресмятахме точките по следния начин:
> explain why I think I can claim all these points.
Age: 25
> Qualifications: 60 ( or 50 - Subject of NZQA assessment) Work
> Experience: 30 ( >10 years IT full time ) Bonus for Qualification
> in an area of absolute skills shortage: 10 Bonus for Work experience
> in an area of absolute skills shortage: 15 (> 6years)
> --------------------- Total: 140
(or 130 if NZQA assessment states
> level(7))
В отговор на което имиг. консултант ни отговори:
### sorry, it is not that simple.
You need to provide a full NZQA assessment report that specifically states that your qualification is directly comparable to the requirement listed in column 4 of the LTSSL.
We have lodged thousands of NZQA assessments and since introduction of the current Qualification Framework, European qualifications are usually assessed as comparable to 'A qualification @ Level 7/8/9'
The NZQA does not state the additional information listed in column 4 (......specialising in Information Technology (Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information
> Technology) OR Bachelor degree (Level 7) ........)
The latter is required for the award of bonus points.
From our experience only UK/Commonwealth qualifications and Bachelor's/Masters issued after the Bologna declaration have a chance to get assessed as required.
Again, the report needs to state the full requirements listed in column 4 or you won't get bonus points.
A recent example from a UK client:
Completed Bachelor's of Hons in Computer Science from a University listed in Appendix 3
As the client claimed bonus points in AASS , the officer (rightly so) requested an NZQA report which stated the following:
Bachelor degree Hons (Level 8) specialising in Computer Science, 360 credits
The client did NOT get bonuspoints as the column 4 requires a qualification @ level 7 (he completed a Level 8).
The same applies to work experience in AASS, bonus points can only be awarded if you meet all requirement of column 4 of the LTSSL.
> The key for success of the approach I suggest is the NZQA assessment.
### correct, this will give you confirmation whether you are eligible for bonus points in AASS or not (we predict you won't, and I expect you to need an offer of employment).
> In addition I may start looking for a job offer at the same time and
> if I find one (which is not likely to happen IMO) I would be able to
> score also the 90 bonus points you mention.
### this is pointless, nobody will even talk to you unless you are in NZ and ready lodge a work visa application with almost immediate start (usually around 3 weeks).
От тези написани неща, разбираме че е трудно да се вземат точки за work experience и бонус точки за work experience и квалификация.
А иначе вижте от какво предполага че произлиза нашето погрешно пресмятане на точки консултанта
I note that the number of Bulgarian inquiries suggesting a similar pathway goes up by the day and I have the feeling that this is caused by some 'experts' in a forum who clearly haven't got a clue what they are talking about.
